Driver Requirements

To drive with Dineamite, you must meet these safety requirements (applied equally to all applicants):

  • Valid, current driver’s license (held at least 1 year)
  • Current auto insurance
  • A reliable vehicle
  • At least 18 years old
  • Pass a background check and motor vehicle record check

You will NOT be eligible if your record shows:

  • A DUI/DWI/OWI within the past 7 years
  • Reckless driving or a major moving violation within the past 7 years
  • More than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Violent crimes, theft, or sexual offenses (per background check)

These standards exist for the safety of our customers, our community, and our drivers. If your check comes back with an issue, we follow a fair review process and you’ll have the opportunity to respond.

An expired license or lapsed insurance is not a permanent disqualifier — renew it and reapply.

We invest in you

Dineamite covers the full cost of your background check. Complete your first 25 successful deliveries and earn a $50 onboarding bonus, paid on top of your earnings.

Many made-to-order restaurant entrées come with a choice of sides — pick them from the dropdown when adding an item to your cart, or use Special Instructions for any other preferences.

Menu items are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable at pickup, your driver will contact you through the in-app messaging system.

Restaurants keep their full menu price. Prices here are the real restaurant price.

Menu prices at unverified restaurants are approximate. A 20% buffer is added at checkout and refunded after delivery if the actual cost is lower.
